Stacey Solomon has used her bedroom as the main place to relax at her family home in Essex, but she will soon have “another room to sit” after transforming her front room.

the Cowardly Women The star took to her Instagram Stories to show off her living room fireplace in one of her classic ‘Tap to Tidy’ posts. The previous fireplace featured a small black wood-burning stove placed in an alcove under a wooden beam, which Stacey said was a safety concern. “I loved this beam, but it turned out that it was not safe to stay so close to the fire,” she explained.

Instead, her new fireplace is now built with a gorgeous cream surround and cream tiles that Stacey herself grouted.
She added: “We decided to give it an outline instead because I loved my room so much. I bought it at the same place @fireplacefactory and it’s all different cream stone colors, love it . We had the burner properly serviced and cleaned before it went in too and it looks brand new. “

Stacey revealed the beam above the fireplace was a safety issue
Stacey described the fireplace as “the toughest, messiest job in this room” and said she was now looking forward to adding sofas and other decorations. No doubt the finished piece will be a hit with her fiancé Joe swash and children Leighton, 13, Zachary, nine, Rex, one, and baby Rose, born at “Pickle Cottage” on October 4th.

The couple moved into their Tudor-style home in March 2021 and it is reportedly worth £ 1.2million. Recent renovations include an electric fireplace by the bathroom in the master bedroom, a wall of flowers in Rose’s all-pink nursery, and pale green kitchen cabinets by Wren Kitchen.
Stacey’s new living room makeover comes just days after she showed off her jaw-dropping Christmas door decor. Posing for a family photo, she showed the elegant arch with foliage, silver baubles and warm lights, along with a mini Christmas tree, wooden sleigh and reindeer statue outside the main entrance to her House.

“Hello winter. Our first Christmas door to Pickle Cottage and Rose’s first front door (outside of my stomach). Rose is in the family photo, she just blends in with our coats. So much so. excited and a little emotional about our first Christmas with Rose and our first Christmas at Pickle Cottage… Let the festive adventures begin with the pickles, ”she wrote.
