Inside the traditional BBC’s Call the Midwife Helen George nursery for the second baby

Call the Midwife star Helen George took a peek inside her traditional crib after announcing the birth of her second child.

The BBC One actress, who welcomed her second child with partner Jack Ashton, shared a glimpse of the traditional red nursery with her 194,000 Instagram followers.

Helen, 37, who is best known for the role of Trixie Franklin in the BBC drama, appears to have given birth at St Thomas’ Hospital in London and wasted no time getting her little one settled in the beautiful nursery.

The blonde beauty posed with her adorable four-year-old daughter, Wren, as she gave her followers a glimpse of the space for her little one.

It can be seen that Helen has gone for a vibrant red striped wallpaper while the white shutters and wood paneling give a traditional touch to the room.

Meanwhile, the actress added pops of color to the bedroom with artwork and family snaps on a shelf as well as gray herringbone flooring for a modern touch.

Elsewhere, Helen opted for a pale gray camp bed with white bed linen and added a blue flowered nest for her little one to sleep on.

Upon closer inspection, the little one can be seen carrying a growing white baby as Helen captured the newborn’s legs in the blink of an eye.

Meanwhile, Wren looked every inch of the big sister as she sat proudly at the foot of the cot in a red plaid dress while a giraffe and rabbit could also be seen in the crib.

This comes from the fact that Helen has not revealed whether they have welcomed a son or daughter and have yet to announce the name of their bundle of joy.
