Grab props and save on the gaming table during the final days of the Origins Season 2 Kickstarter campaign

While it’s too late to take advantage of any of those Early Bird discounts on an Origins gaming table or new gaming coffee table I told you about last month, you can still save 25% off the MSRP of one of these tables during the Origins Season 2 Kickstarter campaign is underway. However, the time is almost up to take advantage of these savings, as the campaign ends on Thursday, April 28.

But it’s not just the tables themselves that are available. The Game Theory Tables introduced a number of new items for use with the tables.

New Neoprene Playmats

Several new designs were unlocked during the campaign. These 5×3 playmats are compatible with the Origins gaming table and the expansion tray on the gaming coffee table. MSRP is $99, but you can get them for $75 during the Kickstarter. You can see them below:

New Origins Accessories

All of these accessories are solid ash wood and color matched to your Origins game table.

The first are the cardholders. These are sold in packs of 2. The MSRP is $45, but during the Kickstarter you can get them for $33.

To help protect your playmates from inadvertently (or do not if inadvertently) peeking at your cards, there are player guards. These are also sold in 2-packs, with an MSRP of $65 but a Kickstarter price of $49.

The privacy shelf locks into the built-in leg column of the Origins game table and can hold and protect cards and game pieces from other players. Plus, there’s space on top of the shelf to place rule and reference books. These are available for $55, while the MSRP is $75.

Finally, there’s a miniature workstation that, like the privacy shelf, can lock into one of the Origins gaming table’s leg caps. There are two removable magnetic trays on the workstation.

Leg lifts

Game Theory Tables has created height adjustable leg raisers for the Origins Gaming Table and the Gaming Coffee Table. As you can see, you can raise either table to the height of the bar with the Leg Raisers.

The campaign just hit $400,000 at the time of this writing, so the Leg Raisers are now unlocked.

The Future of Origins Season 2 Kickstarter Campaign

With less than a week to go until the end of the campaign, there are still more potential unlocks, including:

  • A new table color choice
  • A new accessory voted by users
  • More Playmat Designs

If the campaign reaches $700,000, an Origins LED game table will be available for purchase. And if the campaign reaches $1 million, each backer will receive a $100 credit loaded into their pledge manager account.

So whether you’re hearing about the Origins gaming table for the first time or have been thinking about getting one since I first reviewed it in 2020, now is a great time to choose a gaming table. game. Not only will you save a lot of money on your purchase, but you’ll probably be playing on your Origins table before the end of the year.
