The nursery renovation includes a wide range of new facilities such as an arts and crafts area, a reading corner and an imaginative play area with plenty of open spaces for children to explore.

Additionally, the nursery has introduced a free-flow play area to complement its existing outdoor education programs, such as regular visits to the forestry school and the engagement of special theme visitors to the school and nursery.

In addition, The Chelsea Nursery is expanding the scope of its childcare and will welcome children from three months to two years old in its brand new baby room which will open its doors in January 2023.

The baby room has been specifically designed to focus on the main areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and will have a strong emphasis on learning through play. Facilities will include a play area and a comfortable and quiet sleeping area . Babies will also enjoy an enclosed play area and a school room for creative sessions such as music and play.

Bridget Saul added: “To extend our offering to local parents, who can be very busy, we wanted to provide a safe and creative environment for babies as young as three months old, giving them the best start in life.

“We understand that it can be difficult for parents to send their babies to nursery, so we made sure to give the baby’s room a truly family atmosphere, helping babies and parents to feel comfortable in their new surroundings and we’ll keep parents updated with what they’ve been up to throughout the day.

“Babies will receive tailored care from our highly trained early years experts, with one of our professionals caring for up to three children.”
